| Reporting to the Dir of Physical Plant, this position will maintain a clean & safe environment throughout the facility for all residents in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of SCPH. This includes, but is not limited to: |
- Delivery of Services and Programs
- Resident/Family/Guest/Staff/Relations
- Regulatory Compliance

| High School diploma, or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of trade and repair experience preferred.
|
- Proficiency and ability to effectively use Windows OS, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Internet Explorer or equivalent software.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to demonstrate interpersonal, time-management, and organizational skills; willingness and ability to follow written and verbal direction in English.
- Willingness and ability to maintain appropriate level of confidentiality and privacy; to interact professionally with all customers, including older adults and co-workers, individually and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to make appropriate judgments, decisions and problem solving in a timely manner and within the context of the situation at hand; to effectively respond to emergency and/or crisis situations.
- Ability to demonstrate skill in painting, plumbing, drywall, basic electrical and basic building repair, with above average skills in one or more of these, including skills/knowledge to manage electronic systems preferred.
- Knowledge of central plant heating and cooling systems and ability to manage them effectively. Ability to use normal power hand tools and ladders.
- Knowledge of telephone, voice mail and call accounting system preferred.
